Outreach & Care

This Commission views Catholic Social Teaching as a prime value. The Commission addresses how Ascension can offer love and support to its own parishioners and to the wider community. It evaluates and develops opportunities and relationships that work for the betterment of individuals in need as well as the larger church and society. In its work, the Commission often joins with other parishes, congregations, archdiocesan offices and civic groups. Families and individuals wishing to become involved in areas of partnership, peace and justice, and service are invited to contact the Parish office.
