The Hospitality and Welcoming Commission’s core strategy is to “Foster a welcoming, intentional, and friendly community without strangers through care for our members in need, celebration of our common life, and shared ownership of our identity.”
The commission’s ministries include:

- Coffee & Donut Sundays
- Fair Trade sales
- Elizabeth Ministry
- Funeral and bereavement ministry including funeral luncheons
- Greeters
- Network of Care
- Newcomer registration
- Nursery
- Prayer Chain
- Wedding rehearsals
- Women’s Guild
