Got questions? Try Alpha.
Join us for a "Come and See" night - Sun. Jan. 7, 2018 at 6:00 or Thurs. Jan. 11, 2018 at 6:30
Each night will include a FREE dinner, a short talk and some brief discussion.
Is there more to life than this? Who is Jesus and why did he die? Why am I here? People have a lot of options when looking to answer the big questions today. And while Google might be perfect for finding out who played 2nd Base for the Reds in 1926, do we really want to trust it with the biggest questions about life and faith?
At Ascension we are committed to helping people integrate life and faith and to find solid answers for life’s most important questions. To that end, we began running Alpha courses in the fall of 2017.

Alpha is designed to help parishioners think more deeply about their faith, while also providing a place for those who are outside the Church, or who have drifted away, to explore life and faith in a comfortable, non-threatening setting.
The format of Alpha is simple. Each session starts with dinner, and then includes a short talk followed by discussion among the participants. Each week will focus on questions of faith such as: Is there more to life than this? Who is Jesus and why did he die? How can I make the most of the rest of my life? The full Alpha course runs 10 weeks, but your commitment is up to you.
