Mission Appeal this weekend, June 8-9, 2024:

Each year, the Mission Office of our Diocese invites a missionary group to every parish to share about their mission work.  This weekend, June 8-9, we will have this annual mission appeal.  Foundation for Children in Need is a Catholic lay organization based in Arlington Heights, IL.  JoAnne Mullen-Muhr, a longtime supporter of FCN, is very happy to visit us and share about the mission work FCN does in the interior villages of India.  FCN sponsors 2000 children and college students.  They provide free medical check-ups and medicine to thousands of needy adults and children.  2000 children born with cleft lip and cleft palate have been helped with free corrective surgeries in the past ten years.  We welcome JoAnne and encourage you to generously support this mission work.  There will be a second collection taken up this weekend.  To learn more about the work of FCN, please visit: www.fcn-usa.org.
